Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Some holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all apartments and public areas daily
• Participate in cleaning of all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartment and common areas
• Assist in vacuuming carpeted areas and mopping tile floors
• Lead and train housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and resident satisfaction
• Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
• Inspect expected new move-in arrivals before move-in date
• Devising and setting up objectives to boost company productivity
• Monitoring resident satisfaction
• Managing resident complaints and resolving their issues
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and decide on repairs as needed.

Requirements:

• A High school diploma or GED is required
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position is preferred
• At least 2+ years' experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
• Knowledge of environmental services, including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Good customer service skills
• Experience in recruiting and hiring
• Experience in evaluating staff
• Experience in leadership roles
