Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Integrations Business Analyst to support enterprise integration and reporting initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical/IT environment. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project teams to translate business requirements into effective integration and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, integration projects, requirements gathering, data mapping, and reporting , preferably within a GxP-compliant pharmaceutical environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business needs, processes, and requirements.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Create and maintain User Requirements Specifications (URS), User Stories, Functional Specifications, Acceptance Criteria, Business Cases, and Project Charters .
• Perform business process mapping and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Conduct data mapping exercises across source and target systems.
• Create and maintain the integration backlog , including requirements, priorities, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the definition and documentation of integration requirements and interfaces.
• Prepare business cases for proposed future integrations and enhancements.
• Work with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements.
• Support software testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Define and validate acceptance criteria and assist in resolving defects or requirement gaps.
• Design and support the creation of reports and facilitate data-sharing requirements.
• Ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.

The role may involve integration and data flows across the following systems:

• BaseCamp
• SPECA
• sLIMS
• SAP MDG
• SAP MRR
• MuleSoft / Solaris as the integration layer
• SQL databases and reporting solutions

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field .
• 3 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry .
• Experience working in a GxP-compliant or regulated environment .
• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and business processes .
• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and User Story creation .
• Experience with business process mapping and data mapping .
• Experience maintaining and managing an integration backlog .
• Experience preparing business cases for integration initiatives .
• Good understanding of SQL databases, relational data structures, and reporting solutions .
• Experience supporting software testing, validation, and UAT .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively drive activities to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English .

Working Requirements

• Comfortable working with globally distributed and virtual teams .
• Availability for regular evening calls to collaborate with teams based in the US.
• Working hours may include approximately 15:00 19:00 CET for cross-region collaboration.
• Engagement duration: January 2026 through December 31, 2026 .
• Workload: 50% 100% FTE , depending on project requirements.
